About VIPS
The Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS) program is an important component of our school community. Each year, parents, students and community partners support our school’s students and teachers by volunteering their time to help in school related functions and activities. VIPS come from all economic, ethnic and educational backgrounds. They serve as classroom assistants to teachers, tutors to students, they help work in the library, clinic, office, cafeteria, and provide other important support.
